WHAT IS PRIMING?
Priming is an implicit memory effect in which exposure to a stimulus influences a response to a subsequent stimulus. The first stimulus can be auditory, visual, tactile, etc. and we call it a ‘prime'. This phenomenon occurs without that individual's awareness, so it performs on a subconscious level.
