Priming Experiment Prelab
Introduction
Priming effect occurs when stimulus being exposed to previously affect people’s reaction to the subsequent stimulus. Priming helps activate a series of connection in the brain which makes it more accessible to the person. This experiment is designed to testify the effect of priming and demonstrates how the environment can affect people’s response to a question.

·Sandy beach room:
Bolsters

Safe buoy
Hypothesis
The business group will make a more aggressive decision than the beach groups. People in business room will much more incline to offer themselves more money than to counterpart.
Procedure
1)Buy materials, count participants
2)Design two types of rooms and decorate them
3)Separate participants into two groups and ask them to wait in the arranged rooms
4)a.business room:create a job application theme, ask them to finish the questionnaires and declaim the company management regulations, inquire them about their ability to solve some tough problems
b.sandy beach room: leave them play with the props
5)Instruct them to go to the next room after 20 minutes
6)Each of participants reach in a bag to take one of two pieces of paper(offer and decide), the one who offer should divide 100 yuan, the one who decide should choose to accept or refuse
7)Record the answers from different groups and make a report
